“ Fantastic ramen! I was sooooo full after eating here. Great menu and it’s very customizable. I got extra broth and noodles and it knocked me out. Make sure you come here on an empty stomach! ”
“ Came across this spot when I was exploring downtown Vancouver. It is an absolutely high quality restaurant! The servers are energetic, kind and attentive. I tried out the cremey vegan ramen and it was so delicious. The quality of the ingredients being used is high, the attention to detail on the dish itself is also a work of art. The counters and tables are clean and spotless, also the food arrives quickly which was surprising because it was so delicious. I ate here at the bar, since I was visiting by myself and it was a great experience. I do recommend coming here with friends or family if your ever in the area! ”

“ Visited here twice now with my boyfriend, and the ramen is great! The JINYA Tonkotsu Black ramen features a delicious, savoury pork broth that feels very smooth, yet not overly oily. It’s probably one of my favourite ramen broths in all of Vancouver, as something about it just goes down so nicely, and tastes fantastic! The chashu, seaweed, egg, and thin noodles accompany the broth well, and overall, although the ramen is on the slightly pricier side compared to other spots across Vancouver, I believe it’s worth the money! It’s also a brisk walk from the Granville Skytrain Station, which makes it a nice location to get to :) Inside the restaurant, the lighting is on the dimmer side, but electronic candles and small lamps are placed at each table so there’s enough lighting. I haven’t been seated at the bar yet, but the bar is at the center of the restaurant with many window seats and tables spread throughout the rest of the interior. Depending on when you go, it can get a little loud as the restaurant isn’t super large, but I think JINYA has found a way to make its space on the cozier and not overstimulating/cramped side. Highly recommend that when you can, you give JINYA a try! :) ”
“ food: flavorful, rich, umami ramen! i’d recommend ordering the tonkatsu black if it’s your first time. we also got the tan-tan ramen, i loved the nutty peanut aroma in the soup. my favorite was the matcha tiramisu-so spongey, creamy, and slightly bitter! service: very friendly and welcoming! they patiently helped us look through the menu. atmosphere: loved the modern, dimly lit ambience. the bar style seating feels very authentic, almost like you’re in Japan! ”
